A Reddit user has developed an AI that is similar to the popular ChatGPT AI, but this version is specifically designed to give video game suggestions to gamers looking for new titles to play. Although the bot is still in its early phases, the ChatGPT-inspired tool could be quite helpful for players who are undecided about what games to pick up.
Reddit user MadRedditScientist shared an early look of their new AI tool to the r/gaming subreddit. The ChatGPT-like tool utilises data from over 100,000 Reddit posts and comments on the r/ShouldIBuyThisGame subreddit.
Users may simply type in a search bar and ask if a particular game is worth purchasing, and the bot will respond based on the data collected from the aforementioned subreddit.

MadRedditScientist admits that their tool is not without its caveats. These included providing out-of-date information, making things up at times, running out of requests, and being slow at generating responses.
Despite these issues, the creator pointed out that it is currently an experimental tool, and he expressed optimism that the issues could be resolved by providing the AI with more data to work with.
